The biographical film JOBS, based on the life of Steve Jobs, is set to release on August 16th. The official website for the movie has already gone live, offering a wealth of information related to the film for those who are interested.

Originally titled "Jobs: Get Inspired," the movie stars Ashton Kutcher and is directed by Joshua Michael Stern. It narrates the life and struggles of Steve Jobs from 1971 to 2000.

However, JOBS does not cover many significant events that occurred in Jobs' life after 2000, such as the launch of the iPod, iPhone, iPad, and his battle with illness. For a comprehensive understanding of Steve Jobs' life, Walter Isaacson's authorized biography "Steve Jobs" is a good choice. Sony Pictures has acquired the film adaptation rights for "Steve Jobs," with Aaron Sorkin serving as the screenwriter for their version of the biopic.

Aaron Sorkin won the Best Adapted Screenplay award at the 83rd Academy Awards for his movie "The Social Network," which was based on the life of Mark Zuckerberg.
