So for more than 40 years, the rolls of film of the Beatles first U.S. concert sat, untouched, in Mitchell's basement along with his other negatives until a few years ago when he decided to digitize his entire archive. So why did he finally develop these rolls of film that had been hidden for so long? Like so many others, he was negatively impacted by the recession and the real estate crisis.
