According to the Xinjiang Seismic Network's preliminary measurement, at 9:56 Beijing time on January 1nd, a 5.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in Wucha County, Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. According to measurements, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 39.4° N and 75.2° E, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
