The CLASKA hotel in Tokyo was once refurbished due to the aging of its building. At that time, the design team Torafu Architects was invited to redesign three long-stay guest rooms on the top floor of the building. Torafu Architects specially designed an ingenious universal storage wooden wall for this space of about 18 square meters, thus making the room look more spacious.

They cut out various shapes of furniture and daily necessities on this wooden wall, so that it can accommodate 35 kinds of daily necessities such as TV, refrigerator, lamps, chairs, books and suitcases in a vivid way. Among them, there is even a small nest for an Aibo robotic dog. Under the simplicity and artistic atmosphere, it is also practical: the room becomes tidier, and the stored daily necessities are clear at a glance and easy to use.
