GitHub launched an improved Pages site today, aimed at helping developers create GitHub Pages more quickly and conveniently. Now, GitHub Pages can guide developers step-by-step to create a project's main page, either via the command line or through the GitHub client, all within just a few minutes.
Currently, GitHub's functionality is no longer limited to hosting project code; an increasing number of developers are starting to write blogs on GitHub. The way to set up a blog platform is by using GitHub Pages and the Jekyll templating engine. Jekyll processes the web source code uploaded by users and generates static files.
