Google Street View captures German woman giving birth on the street (pic)

ECNS, exclusive report: According to the UK's "Daily Telegraph" report on November 24th, Germany's "Google Street View" recently captured a shocking photo on the pedestrian path in Wilmersdorf, a suburb of Berlin. A woman was lying on the street giving birth, while a kneeling man held a newborn baby in his hands. Beside them, another woman supported the new mother's head, and it seemed that there was a towel spread beneath her. A car was parked beside them with its doors open.

This photo sparked widespread controversy on tech blog sites, with some users speculating that it might be a prank. A German netizen wrote on the US tech blog Gizmodo: "There’s a hospital right across the street, yet they were completely unaware of the birth happening right in front of their doors. An advertising agency in one of the houses also didn't know about the street birth that happened in front of his house." So far, no one has claimed responsibility for this photo, and Google has already replaced it with a new street view image.

This is one of a series of strange events recently captured by "Google Street View". Earlier this week, "Google Street View" in Mannheim, southwestern Germany, captured a naked man climbing into a car parked on the sidewalk. In August, "Google Street View" captured the body of a female student lying by the road in Worcester, England.
