4G mobile phones tested in Shanghai: video very clear, bandwidth as high as 100 Mbps

When people are still excited about the functions of the new generation of 3G mobile phones that have just been launched for trial use, a more advanced 4G mobile phone is undergoing trials in Shanghai. Yesterday, Shou Ziqi, Director of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, revealed during an interview that 4G mobile phones with a bandwidth as high as 100 megabits could be available soon.

Wang Jing, a member of the expert group in the communication field of the National 863 Program, also introduced that a field trial system with basic characteristics of 4G mobile communication, built in Shanghai, has recently passed acceptance tests. Among them, four are in urban areas, and two are on elevated road environments in Shanghai. Through these systems, making high-definition video calls with a mobile phone will no longer be a pipe dream.
