3 km wireless networking successful
I am from Chongqing, and my family lives in Jiangbei Tea Garden. Today, I found a car and a UPS power supply, brought my own DIY directional antenna for test, and went to Pier 2 (that is, Qianximen Pier) to do long-distance wireless networking test.
It was easily connected at distances of 900 to 1 km, maintaining speeds of 54M and ping values between 1 and 3 milliseconds.
At a distance of 3 km, it seems to be inversely proportional to the square of the distance, and the speed drops to 5.5M, the actual transmission speed is only 150K, and the speed of adsl is similar.
At this distance, the impact of the surrounding environment is relatively large, as long as a pedestrian walks past in front of the network will be pinged, and it is speculated that with dual antennas, this problem should be overcome.
Using the map software of Lingtu, the measurement in the upper right corner of the map is 3 kilometers
