Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) Beta 1 Released

The latest generation of Ubuntu, version 11.04, which is set to be released in April this year, has already launched its first BETA version—Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) Beta 1. Ubuntu 11.04 abandons the traditional GNOME interface and adopts the Unity interface, which was first used in the netbook version of Ubuntu 10.10. This marks a bold attempt by Ubuntu to break away from the Gnome desktop environment.
