WWF: Thousands of new species discovered in Greater Mekong Basin

Many species previously thought to be extinct have been discovered in the Mekong River, the International Wildlife Fund (WWF) said in a report released Monday, The Times of London reported. These include the extremely rare green snake, the world's largest spider and the light red polypod arthropod.
