Recently, a computer virus named "Disk Killer" has caused widespread chaos, infecting nearly a million users. In response, Rising (Ruixing) Company issued the first red security alert of the year, while Jiangmin and Kingsoft companies also prominently featured special warnings on their homepages, advising people to beware of the "Disk Killer."

Antivirus software cannot be opened, or is immediately closed after opening; it is impossible to enter Windows Safe Mode; computers cannot properly display system hidden files... This virus downloads large amounts of trojans, stealing online game accounts, QQ numbers, and user privacy data with almost no limits. According to monitoring, as of now, the variant count of the "Disk Killer" virus has reached 107 types. Cybersecurity experts have stated that the difficulty of detecting and removing this virus is ten times greater than that of the "Panda Burning Incense" virus.

Since March 19th, the "Disk Killer" virus has not been updated again, and all malicious websites related to the "Disk Killer" virus have temporarily gone quiet. During this period, affected citizens can download specialized removal tools online. Experts remind users to preferably download from official antivirus manufacturer sites or large download stations to avoid introducing new viruses while attempting to remove existing ones.
