In 2008, he participated in the 36th "Modern Children's Art Exhibition" for the first time and won the New Artist award. His works have appeared in magazines, calendars and other print publications, and he has illustrated for Ryoko Asabina's "" (Kai Sungsha, 2007), as well as for a local TV cartoon about Japanese folk tales called" Once On ".
From the initial use of children's watercolor painting tools, watercolor has been used until now. Kanazawa's works are delicate in brushwork and warm in color. The themes of traditional Japanese paintings such as flowers and animals are common, and there are also scenes of daily life, like a postcard sent to the depths of memory.
