2011 Pulitzer Prize for Journalism Announced

The Pulitzer Prize, the most authoritative news award in the US, was announced at Columbia University on the 18th. The New York Times and Los Angeles Times were the biggest winners, each receiving two awards. In addition, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal also received awards respectively. A total of 1,097 news works were shortlisted for the 14 categories of this year's Pulitzer Prize.
