Starving polar bear takes desperate measures | Photography Friends

This young, clumsy polar bear pushed itself to the limit in its struggle for survival, descending 300 feet down a steep cliff just to get its hands on the gull's eggs. This astonishing yet worrying reality was captured by American photographer Dylan Coker in the Novaya Zemlya archipelago in Russia's far north. He said, "When we saw the white dots on the cliffs from afar, we thought they were just large birds or leftover snow. It was only when we got closer that we realized it was a polar bear. We all stayed quiet, watching this scene with awe."
