According to the "Japanese Xinhua Overseas Chinese News network" news, the world-famous Japanese Fuji film company announced on September 6 that it will sell cosmetics in China. From September, the "ASTALIFT" line of skin care cosmetics will be sold on local shopping websites and in direct stores in Hong Kong. This is the first time Fujifilm has introduced its cosmetics to the Chinese market.

With the glory of the film era fading, Fujifilm (" Fuji ") has successfully transformed its business. At present, Fujifilm has identified medical life sciences, high-performance materials, optical components, electronic imaging, document processing and printing as the six key development businesses of the Fujifilm Group in the future. Among them, the medical and health business is the focus of Fujifilm's future business development, and the proportion has been increasing in recent years.

Fujifilm has been in the cosmetics business since 2006 and is now a cosmetics manufacturer. Koji Yokota, President of Fujifilm (China) Investment Co., LTD., said, Collagen, an important substance for cosmetics, is an essential ingredient in the original film production process of Fujifilm. For more than 70 years, Fujifilm has thoroughly mastered the technology of collagen and its principle. Applying such a technology and principle to cosmetics is actually an extension of our technology."
