China New net May 29 Three more suspected cases of influenza A (H1N1) have been confirmed in Guangdong province, after the Ministry of Health reported on the morning of May 29 that a suspected case of imported influenza A (H1N1) in Guangzhou was diagnosed as a confirmed case.
Close contacts of the three cases have been placed under medical observation.
Earlier on the same day, a suspected imported case of influenza A (H1N1) reported in Guangzhou was diagnosed as a confirmed case. The patient is a male, 28 years old, Chinese American, working in a hospital in New York, USA. The patient took Flight OZ221 from New York, USA to Incheon, Korea at 12:30 on May 23, 2009, and transferred to Flight OZ369 to Guangzhou at 7:50 on May 24, 2009, and took the airport bus to his residence. The symptoms include sore throat on the evening of the 24th, low fever on the afternoon of the 25th, cough, phlegm, nasal congestion, runny nose, muscle aches and diarrhea on the 26th. On the morning of the 27th, the symptoms worsened, and he went to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical College and the Eighth People's Hospital of Guangzhou for treatment. The Guangzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention tested positive for influenza A (H1N1) virus Tuesday, while the Guangdong Center for Disease Control and Prevention tested positive. After consultation with the provincial expert group, it was diagnosed as a suspected case of influenza A (H1N1).
On 29 May, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention conducted laboratory tests on throat swab samples of the patient, which showed positive for influenza A (H1N1) virus nucleic acid. The health Department of Guangdong Province organized a group of experts to consult, according to the diagnosis and treatment of influenza A (H1N1), the patient's clinical manifestations, epidemiological data and laboratory test results after comprehensive analysis, the case was confirmed as influenza A (H1N1). At present, the patient's condition is stable and his vital signs are stable. Close contacts continue to be placed under designated medical observation.
The patient had taken wedding photos with his girlfriend in a studio and car in Guangzhou on May 25 and 26. A 24-year-old Chinese female makeup artist from the studio felt sore throat, headache and fever on the morning of May 27. 28, rest at home, self-measured temperature 37℃. She was examined by the Yuexiu District Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, at 10 am on the 28th and sent by ambulance to Guangzhou Eighth People's Hospital for treatment. The test results of Guangzhou and Guangdong Provincial Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were positive for influenza A H1N1 virus nucleic acid. At present, the patient's condition is stable.
Shenzhen has reported two cases of influenza A (H1N1) :
Patient 1, male, 22 years old, American; Patient 2, female, 21 years old, American, the two are brother and sister relationship, now living in Dongguan City. On May 17, the two patients arrived in Taipei on flight CI0011 from New York, and arrived in Hong Kong on flight CI0601 on May 19, and then took a chartered bus to Dongguan City. On the 21st, the two patients went to Shenzhen by private car and then returned to Dongguan City. On the morning of the 27th, the two patients rented a car and entered Hong Kong through Lo Wu Port. At 15pm, the two patients showed symptoms of chills. At 22:30 on the same day, both were found to have elevated temperatures upon entry and were immediately sent to Shenzhen Third People's Hospital for isolation and treatment. On the morning of the 28th, samples from the Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention tested positive for the A H1N1 influenza virus nucleic acid, and on the evening of the 28th, the Guangdong Center for Disease Control and prevention laboratory tested positive for the A H1N1 influenza virus nucleic acid of the two cases.
After verification, a total of 11 close contacts of the two cases have been placed under medical observation.
