Cat's paradise: Tashima, Cat island, Japan

In the northeast of Japan, there is a small island called Tashiro, which is only 2.7 square kilometers in area. Although the island has fewer than 100 inhabitants, it is a veritable cat paradise. The Tada even built their houses in the shape of cats. So many people forget the name of the island itself, Tashiro, and only remember that there is a "cat island."
