On the very first day of the release of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, the first patch was released as well, setting a kind of record. Apparently, these issues should have already existed during the testing phase. The patch addresses the following problems:
- Login issues with accounts created using Mac OS X 10.1 or earlier that have passwords with eight or more characters.
- Connection issues with 802.11b/g wireless networks.
- Issues changing the password for an account protected by FileVault.
