Adobe has officially released the latest version of its design Suite, Creative Suite 3. As the largest new product release in Adobe's history, CS3 is divided into six different versions, including a total of 17 new design software, including the first addition of the original Macromedia Web Three Muskmen products.

The CS3 package is divided into Design Premium, Design Standard, Web Premium, Web Standard, Product Premium, and Master There are six versions of the Collection, with different components, and some components and services shared by each version. All components in CS3 support Apple Macs natively, with the exception of OnLocation CS3 and Ultra CS3, the former of which requires Boot Camp.

Of course, the brightest star of CS3 is Photoshop CS3. As Adobe's core product, Photoshop CS3 has always been the most talked about, Adobe also released its beta version at the end of last year. The reason for choosing Photoshop CS3 is not only that it will be perfectly compatible with Vista, but also that it has dozens of exciting new features, New layouts for widescreen displays, a dock with more than 20 Windows in one, a smaller toolbar, automatic panoramas for multiple photos, flexible black to white conversion, easier to adjust selection tools, smart filters, improved vanishing point features, better 32-bit HDR image support, and much more. In addition, Photoshop has been divided into two versions since CS3 for the first time, the regular standard version and the Extended version that supports 3D functionality.

Flash CS3, Dreamweaver CS3, and Fireworks CS3 can also be found in some versions. Since Adobe's $3.4 billion acquisition of Macromedia in 2005, this is the first time Adobe has combined the two companies' products on a large scale, and CS2 has only added some Macromedia products.

Adobe recommends that CS3 should be run with a powerful enough processor and 1GB of memory, with 5-6GB of hard disk space.

Retail prices vary depending on the set selected:

Design Premium is $1,799 new and $440 upgraded

The Design Standard is $1,199 new and $240 upgraded

Web Premium is $1,599 new and $340 upgraded

Web Standard $999 new, $399 upgrade

Production Premium is $1,699 new and $799 upgraded

The Master Collection is $2,499 new and $1,399 upgraded

The Master Collection's $2,500 price tag has set a new record for Adobe, but while few people need a flagship or ultimate Master Collection, the most expensive version is also the most affordable. That's because the price for each of the 17 programs is much higher than $2,500.

Adobe said the Design and Web versions of CS3 will begin shipping in April, and the Product Premium and Master Collection versions will wait until the third quarter of this year.
