This is the site of artist Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich, inspired by a small book he drew for his daughter: Bembo's Zoo. He gave the book to his daughter for Christmas. In the book, he creates an interesting animal world using only 26 English letters, all of which are cleverly formed from the letters of their English names, and all of which are written in a single font, Bembo Roman, hence the title.

In this site you can see a sound (with voice!) Colored (colored!) An animated version of Bembo's Zoo. The letters are endless and dazzling.

Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich was born in Brazil and is now senior art director and vice president of HarperCollins Publishing Group.
