Seeing the World with Google: Global Population Density

Everyone knows that China and India are populous countries, while countries like Australia are large and sparsely populated. Do you want to know the population density of each country in the world? The Earth Institute at Columbia University compiles information and data on global population distribution for use in scientific research, government decision-making, and communications. Two years ago, Google Earth community member Gerardo64 used this information and data to show the distribution density of the world's population on Google Earth.
