A few days ago, I just wrote a blog post on Google's home page of the "Google International Youth Painting Competition" works selected as China's Google homepage logo. Yesterday, December 21, Google's home page has changed again, and the logo on the home page appears Happy Holidays 2008! "doodle." I thought it was a doodle to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival of Winter Solstice, but I found that the same icon appeared at the English main station, the Japanese station, the German station, and so on, which should be celebrating Christmas. Click through, and happy holiday messages appear in several languages, including English, simplified and traditional Chinese.
