Google: Creating a Semantic Web

Google recently announced the insertion of semantic excerpts in search results. What is semantic excerpts? Semantic extract gives users a quick overview of their search results. The semantic extract data currently used by Google includes reviews and people screening, when a user searches for a product or service, Google provides reviews and ratings of that product or service, and when searching for people, Google helps users identify people with the same name.
