Google's official Google LatLong Blog has just announced that it has acquired Image America. As always, Google immediately closed the official homepage after the acquisition, and now has a sentence:

“Google has acquired ImageAmerica. For media inquiries, please contact [email protected].”

According to the introduction, the company is committed to shooting high-definition cameras for aerial photography, which we can already see Google's intentions. Google, of course, says its technology helps improve the sharpness of satellite Maps on Google Maps and Earth. Of course, Google didn't say anything about the purchase price. I tried to find out more, and so far I've only been able to find the company's web archive for Feb 08, 2007 from archive.org.

Perhaps, you will also be jealous of many companies have been acquired by Google, if you think your company Idea is good, or in line with Google's development direction and have the corresponding technology, you can take the initiative to contact Google.
