Google Earth introduces new layers

Google Earth has added several cool new layers, one of which is Astronaut Photography of Earth from NASA's Earth exploration program over the past 40 years. The other is "Earth City Lights," which lets you browse the night view of our planet. These Layers are located in the Featured Layers section of Google Earth. If you don't have them installed, you can download them here. If you already have it, you don't need to update Google Earth, just look for the keyword NASA. The main reason for the collaboration between NASA and Google Earth is that "the public is familiar with NASA's space exploration missions, but not many people know about its much larger Earth exploration projects (when China's scientific community can be so close to the public, we will not have unreasonable distrust of it)." A collection of Earth images taken by astronauts is also available online (eol.jsc.nasa.gov).

In addition, Google Earth also updates the road traffic situation of some European countries.
