The digital camera, called bigshot, is designed specifically for children to help them more easily disassemble and assemble the camera to better understand the structure and operation of the camera.
The project, developed by Columbia University's computer vision lab, removes the complex functions and structures of modern cameras, leaving only the basic components of camera imaging. To help the children who are new to photography to understand the structure and principle of the camera more intuitively by dismantling, observing and assembling the camera by hand.
