October 3 news, the United States full-text matching precision advertising service provider Proximic recently established a branch in Beijing, officially entered the Chinese market.

The Proximic technology can automatically match content associated with it through associated models that are not only based on keyword matching, but can also be identified based on the logic and content of the context. The technology allows website owners to automatically serve content such as related content, advertisements, etc., without relying on keywords and pre-set categories. This is similar to searching an entire article of more than 200 words as a keyword, looking for the most relevant results. In recent months, Proximic has conducted performance tests in Chinese and the results have been very satisfactory.

Thomas Nitsche, chief technology officer of Proximic, believes that the existing technology is already facing great challenges in the Chinese-language market, and that the "pattern similarity matching" technology performs quite well in these environments. Meanwhile, Proximic CEO Philipp Pieper sees China as potentially the next frontier for full-text, targeted online advertising.
