The American broadcasting company (ABC) website selected the top 10 scientific breakthroughs of 2008, the field of energy and climate change research at the top of the list, the Chinese astronaut spacewalk, the Large Hadron Collider startup, Japanese scientists resurrected dead mice and other events on the list.
