New Scientist has named the top 10 bizarre animals of 2008

From solar-powered sea slug to bacteria living in complete isolation, and from the world's smallest snake to a one-tonne rodent, members of the animal kingdom take weirdness to the extreme, according to New Scientist magazine's top 10 strangest animals of the year.
