Ubuntu 8.04 is the second LTS (Long Term Support Release) of the Ubuntu Linux distribution. Following its initial release in April last year, Ubuntu 8.04.2 is now available with a number of Bug fixes. If you need a stable system and don't like frequent cross-version updates, choosing Ubuntu LTS is a pretty good idea.

Currently, there are two Ubuntu series, 6.06.2 and 8.04.2, at the same time
