Interview with Google Chrome engineer

When Google suddenly joined the already heated browser war with Chrome a few months ago, it came as a surprise to many, but for Google engineer Lars Bak, Chrome was years in the making. Bak led the development of Chrome's v8 JavaScript engine, one of Chrome's most celebrated features, which has become overwhelmed by the JavaScript engines built into many browsers as they increasingly host many Web applications.
