Hong Bo officially resigned from Thousand Oaks on January 31 this year and stepped down as editor-in-chief of Donews.

Hong Bo and Liu Ren said in an interview with Sina Technology this afternoon that the new company has no capital investment in the early stage and has begun to operate, named "five seasons consulting", which echoes the homophonic tone of office number 5G. The office is Liu Ren's personal property.

It is understood that the firm will operate as a "partner", creating a loose collaborative model, with individual independent consultants receiving most of the revenue from specific clients. At present, in addition to Hong Bo and Liu Ren, the two founders of the company, another Donews blogger Lao Bai will serve as a consultant.

Hong Bo has always adhered to the principle of independence and freedom of life, which is the direct reason why he left Thousand Oaks, and also the important reason why he is difficult to choose new employment and finally "start a business".

Since Donews was acquired by Thousand Oaks at the end of 2005, Hong Bo has refused to integrate into Thousand Oaks culture, and admitted that under the care of Liu Ren, he is the most special one among all employees, in addition to not having to work, nor bear the performance indicators such as visits and users.

But Hongbo's "detachment" did not last long. With the listing of Thousand Oak and the increasing pressure of performance, the New Year also has more stringent requirements for Donews in performance, personnel and other aspects.

Hong Bo eventually left and started his own business. In the newly established five seasons of consultation, it will form a situation dominated by Hong Bo and assisted by Liu Ren and Lao Bai.

The development goal of the new company in the short term is to solve the problem of income sources after Hong Bo leaves Thousand Oak.

"With about 10,000 yuan a month, I can live a very easy life." Hong Bo said that in the early stage, he will mainly support himself by developing a few clients, and in the long term, he hopes to build a consulting brand in the Web2.0 era.
