News: Beijing time on April 1, Apple and Google held a press conference at the Apple headquarters in Silicon Valley, announcing that the two companies will merge into one company from today, named AppleGoo.

The merger of Silicon Valley's two giants shocked the world. At the press conference, Apple CEO Steve... Steve Jobs and Google CEO Eric. Mr Schmidt shakes hands warmly (pictured above). Jobs said the merger was amazing and would change the entire technology world. He said, "Isn't that great? (wouldn't it be great...) Two of the world's most innovative companies coming together!"

A smiling Mr. Schmidt took the microphone and began by praising Apple and Mr. Jobs for their tremendous contributions to the technology industry over the past 30 years, calling Mr. Jobs "my brother." He said: "As you know, we've had a close relationship with Apple since the early days of Google to innovate together, and iPhone is the product of that great collaboration. Both of Google's founders considered Jobs their mentor. They have long hoped that Google and Apple would merge into a single company. At Macworld in 2007, I hinted at a proposal to merge the two companies. We finally talked about it a few days ago in a sidewalk cafe."
