Only 5% of bloggers are journalists

From slashdot , A recent study showed that only 5% of the bloger news as the theme of their blog . The study comes from Pew Internet & The American Life Project found that 37% of blogs in the survey were about personal daily life, 11% were about political events, 7% were about entertainment, and 6% were about sports. More detailed data please refer to the the survey. The article also reveals that about 34% of people view their blogs as a way of reporting news; 65% do not think so.
