Before the launch of Windows Phone 7, many users were concerned about not being able to access enough applications. However, when WP7 was launched in the U.S. in early November, Microsoft announced that the number of applications in the Windows Marketplace for Mobile online store had already reached 2,000.
According to statistics from WP7applist, a third-party monitoring company for Windows Marketplace for Mobile, the number of applications in Microsoft's online store has now exceeded 4,000. Compared to the official figure of 3,000 applications announced by Microsoft at the end of November, over 1,000 more WP7 applications have been added in just 20 days. This is undoubtedly good news for WP7 users.
