Xiamen "Domain Name Kid" Creates Another Legend in Beijing
Yesterday, China's first domain name auction was held in Beijing. The Xiamen "domain name kid," previously reported by our newspaper, created another legend, selling three domain names for a total of 660,000 yuan. These three domain names are all second-level .cn domains, with DVD.com.cn and MOVIE.com.cn each being auctioned off for 200,000 yuan, while the other domain name ART.com.cn fetched a price of 260,000 yuan, which is also the highest individual domain name transaction price of this auction.
General Manager Kong Deqing of Xiamen易名Network Technology Co., Ltd. said that the successful offline auction of these domain names proves that the domain name economy is still at a relatively high "temperature," and domain name investment continues to hold value. (Source: Xiamen Evening News)
