Second open source movie to be released

You must have heard about open source software, and you may also have heard about open source movies, because the world's first open source movie "Elephants Dream" was released as early as 2006. This movie comes from the Blender Foundation, and it is a movie completely made using open source software. On May 15th this year, the second movie will be released - "Big Buck Bunny". It also uses Blender's 3D graphics technology. Of course, after two years, the evolution of technology will make the movie effects even more spectacular. The versions available for release include downloadable AVI (MPEG-4, AC3 5.1 surround), MOV (H.264 / AAC Stereo), and DVD versions, all released under the CC license.
