According to the Daily Mail on June 18, British astrophysicists recently cracked Britain's most complex crop circle - it was a coded image of the first ten digits of pi (π).
In early June, the circular pattern was discovered at Barbury Castle in Wiltshire, England. It measured 150 meters in diameter. The origin of the pattern remains unknown for now. Initially, enthusiasts of crop circles were greatly puzzled by the meaning of the image, and many experts also found it "incredible."
Upon seeing the images, retired astrophysicist Mike Reed connected the pattern to mathematics. He said that the Barbury crop circle clearly represented the first ten digits of pi (π) (3.141592654).
