PC World Declares Cease of Publication

IDG announced that its computer magazine, *PC World*, will cease print publication, with August being the final issue. After the cessation, *PC World* will only be available in digital online and mobile platform formats.

In a statement, CEO Bob Carrigan said: "Both tech users and manufacturers are shifting from print media to online platforms. Now, our decision to stop the print version of this 30-year-old magazine reflects what our readers have decided."

In fact, in recent years, many well-known computer magazines have stopped their print editions, such as *PC Magazine* (2008), *Computer Shopper* (2009), *Laptop* (2013), and others.
