A newly discovered species, the tube-nosed bat, bears a striking resemblance to the Star Wars character Yoda

Scientists recently discovered hundreds of new species, including a tube-nosed bat that bears a striking resemblance to Master Yoda from Star Wars. A tube-nosed fruit bat with a look reminiscent of Jedi Master Yoda from the Star Wars movies has been discovered in a remote rainforest. More than 200 species of plants and animals were discovered for the first time last year after a two-month survey in the rugged, inaccessible Nakanai and Mahle Mountains.
