Einstein's brain X-rays sell for $250,000 at auction

X-rays of scientist Einstein's brain in 1945 were auctioned in the United States Beverly Hill days ago and sold for 24,000 pounds (about RMB 250,000), more than 20 times higher than expected. Einstein, known as a genius scientist, passed away in 1955 at the age of 76.

This X-ray was one of the 650 lots in an auction of celebrities and idols objects. Other notable lots also included a glove worn by Michael Jackson in the 1980s, and a jacket worn by John Lennon in 1966 when he shot a cover for a magazine.
