Opera 10 alpha has just been released and is available for download in multiple versions. Known issues listed on the official website:

Widgets that require access to the network may not be available. Please visit widgets.opera.com to re-download to fix this problem. There are still many vulnerabilities in the attachment and encoding handling of the mail client

Under OS X, mail clients cannot use ⌘I to create italics

OpenType Web fonts are not available under Windows

The "Format Paste" entry in the right-click menu in the Compose Mail window cannot be upgraded using the engine
