Thirty cameras and other recording equipment are used to monitor when the Alaskan volcano will erupt, and the information is posted on the website in real time. Volcanologist Shan de Silva says the website has created a revolutionary way of distributing information and raising the level of awareness and interest among the general public, including school children.
