Google Friend Connect, making every site social.

As expected, Google launched a preview of Friend Connect, which allows netizens to add social functions to their websites without writing any code. Unlike Facebook and MySpace, Google does not have its own unified social networking site. Friend Connect adopts an open and distributed approach, enabling the 99% of websites on the internet that currently lack social features to also join the social trend.
