Recently, I don't know what's going on, but Twitter-related extension tools have been popping up one after another, making quite a buzz! I've been asking myself a question all along: these tools may be useful in some aspects, but are they really necessary? Among the recent Twitter extension tools, I only paid attention to one: Twittercounter. Just by looking at its English name, you can probably tell what kind of tool it is — a Twitter statistics tool. What does it track? The number of followers, which essentially reflects the popularity of Twitter.
