When Web Emoticons Enter Reality

With three simple characters, Scott Fahlman brought the emoticon to the Internet. In 1982, Fahlman of Carnegie-Mellon University used character emoticons in BBS posts for the first time, starting a wave of using emoticons on the Internet. Since then, a variety of emoticons have been born and gradually entered the real world.
