Lively is a new application released by Google. It allows you to create your own 3D virtual scene chat room. You may have heard of a mysterious virtual game called Second Life, and Lively has a similar concept.

To use Lively's service, you need a Google account. Then, on the Lively page, download a small client. Lively is designed as a web-based 3D virtual world. You can design your own personalized avatar and even embed it into your blog or website. You can put some effort into carefully arranging your room. On Lively, you can also find many rooms created by other players and take inspiration from their unique designs. From character appearance and clothing to room furniture and decorations, all can be quickly completed with simple mouse dragging and clicking.
