Donald Rumsfeld, the former US defense secretary, has posted online a bizarre gift he received in 1983 from Saddam Hussein, the Iraqi president. It is a video showing graphic scenes of a Syrian woman soldier biting the head off a snake and male soldiers stabbing dogs.
