Some of the most indelibly memorable myths of Ireland were documented by the folklorist and playwright Lady Augusta Gregory in the early 20th century. Now, the fine-book-making outfit Tin House — whose work includes Alice B. Toklas’s cookbook illustrated by Natalie Lydwick — has reissued Gregory’s accounts in a lavish hardcover edition of *Irish Mythology: Tales of the Gods and Heroes*(public library), featuring stunning illustrations by Brooklyn-based illustrator and cartoonist Jillian Tamaki.
