Longjiang Unicom's data center, Longjiang IDC, uses the QC.cn domain name as the new website of the home page. Qc.cn domain name registration information shows that the registration agency is Unicom Heilongjiang branch. Previously, the Heilongjiang Information Port second-level domain name (idc.hlj.net) used by Longjiang IDC was still accessible.

On March 17, 2003, the second-level domain name under China's national top-level domain name.cn was opened for global registration. Less than 20 minutes after the registration of.cn was opened, QC.CN was confirmed as a successful upgrade of Xiamen registrar Business China, registered by Heilongjiang Data Communication Bureau, the holder of the original three-level domain Qc.hL.cn.

In fact, in addition to QQ.cn, the ownership of QQ related domain names has been inextricably linked with Tencent.

In order to have a good website entrance, Tencent registered the oicq.com and oicq.net domain names corresponding to OICQ on November 7, 1998 and January 26, 1999 respectively. However, from the end of August to the middle of September 1999, within a short period of 10 days, AOL sent two sharply worded letters of complaint to Tencent, accusing Tencent of infringing intellectual property rights and asking Tencent to transfer the domain name for free.

On March 21, 2000, US arbitrator James Carmody signed the arbitration judgment, ordering Tencent to return the oicq.com and oicq.net domain names to AOL. Tencent had to give up two domain names linked to ICQ and launch tencent.com instead. In April 2001, Tencent replaced the OICQ logo with QQ on all products and was forced to launch a new branding.

Tencent eventually bought back QQ.com's global top-level domain, but the price has not been announced.

It is reported that the QQ.com domain name was first registered in May 1995, and has been used by Robert Huntsman as a personal film art website since 1998. The QQ.com domain name that he owns has been registered for sale on foreign auction websites for a long time, and even bid for $2 million, after which no one was interested because the price was too high.

In 2007, QQ.com.cn inexplicably changed the main event, this domain name also quietly pointed to the qq.com home page. However, Tencent's move once drew criticism from outside.
